Wabi Luxury Suites — one of the best places to stay in Ios, Greece
An affordable Ios vacation rental perfect for couples
One of our favorite memories during our trip to Ios, Greece was relaxing at Wabi Luxury Suites. Not only is this property in a prime location, but we also found the price to be reasonable when compared to other hotels in Ios. Just steps away from The Chora and walking distance from all the main shops and restaurants, we feel this location has to be one of the best rentals in Ios and would highly recommend it to anyone booking a trip to the island.
One of the best places with views in Ios
The thing we loved most about our stay at Wabi Luxury Suites was the view from our room. The property is located on a hillside above the Chora and the view from the large back patio was just incredible, making it one of our favorite places to be on the island — it was the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset over the water. We could relax there for hours and just take in the view.
Where to stay in Ios for nightlife
Wabi Luxury Suites and Maisonettes are also in a prime spot for anyone wanting to visit bars or hit up the popular beach clubs in Ios. The island is known for it’s late night party scene and this hotel is a short walk to the main village known as the Chora and also only a 5 minute drive from some of the island’s most famous beach clubs at Mylopotas Beach.
A great alternative to Ios luxury hotels
If you’re looking for all-inclusive resorts in Ios, then you may want to check out properties like CALILO or Agalia known for their amenites and suites with private plunge pools. The design of Wabi Luxury Suites is stylish and modern, but you won’t find the same amenities as the resorts. The feel here is like staying in an Airbnb versus a large-scale resort. Our room even came equipped with a small kitchenette for preparing small meals.
What is Ios, Greece known for?
Ios was the second stop on our trip to Greece after visiting Santorini, and we’re so glad we added it to our island hopping itinerary. We knew it to be a popular choice for nightlife, but we were pleasantly surprised by all the things to do on Ios besides clubbing. Beautiful beaches, panoramic views and a picturesque Chora had us totally obsessed with this little island.
